Before a pour for the slab can happen in derrick 4 a survey has to be done . <br /> Bob said it is complete and will be sent to SMMA immediately. <br /> Joel said Jim' s memo was excellent , it jelled all the issues . He suggested <br /> using the memo to develop a matrix for each derrick, listing all the <br /> issues . <br /> Jim was concerned with that suggestion because him memo is only the tip of <br /> the iceberg, it is not a punchlist . It is a tool to begin the process . <br /> Paul explained some of the issues with the steel : the anchor bolts in the <br /> concrete are not in the right location, some steel was not fabricated based <br /> on approved shop drawings . 99 . 9% of the correction work can be done on <br /> site. <br /> Paul asked when there will be more steel delivery? <br /> Bob said derrick 7 & 9 are arriving immediately. They are rebuilding <br /> joists for derrick 6 which came done , it should be completed this week. <br /> Paul asked for a start date on the roof? <br /> Bob said the rest of the fixes and bracing have to be on before the roof <br /> can start . It should start this week. <br /> The bricklayer should be able to start within 2 weeks. The split face is <br /> taking longer to cure than anticipated. <br /> Sewage Treatment Plant : Bob said the entire plant has been submitted to <br /> SMMA and sent back. By the end of Nov. it should be in place . <br /> The Board of Health won' t release the permit until they meet with the <br /> people who are physically putting the plant together. They will have that <br /> meeting ASAP. <br /> The water is being put in presently. <br /> The road will be paved after the water is complete . The sub base has been <br /> approved. <br /> Jim said it will take about 3 more weeks to complete the water. It will be <br /> a challenge to get the base coat down, it will depend on the weather. <br /> Bill Hauck discussed his concerns about getting guidelines for volatiles in <br /> the materials . He sent the information he has to the County Health <br /> Department for guidance . <br /> Bob Barthelmes has the MSDS sheets : material safety data sheets which gives <br /> this information. <br /> Joel will work with Bill on his concerns . <br /> Steve said in the specs of materials this has bene taken into account by <br /> the architects . He is not concerned we have not covered the issue . <br /> Paul suggested they double check and send it to the County, it is better to <br /> find out now if something was missed. <br /> FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT <br /> Manny Tavares was present to discuss the furniture and equipment process . <br /> He explained he and the subcommittee have looked at the 23 bidding <br /> categories , and it was broken into 2 phases . <br /> First phase, furniture , he has provided a room list which identifies the <br /> items , number of items needed and identifies it by bidding section.
