He wants <br /> a letter sent to Ed Frenette stating the Committee is <br /> disappointed in the performance of CCR. The bids went out late , <br /> there is no coordination. This is what we hired CCR for . <br /> Mike Pietrowski asked is someone can find out when the printer <br /> cables are coming in so the teachers can use their printers . <br /> Tom Wren will write the letter to Ed Frenette . <br /> Interim Payments : <br /> Paul made a motion to forward to the Selectmen for their <br /> approval and payment an interim payment for CIC Systems <br /> for $487 , 495 . and to National Telecom for $9 , 800 . Merry <br /> Sue seconded the motion. <br /> This represents 55% of CIC ' s authorized contract, before the <br /> credit . <br /> Merry Sue asked what is left to do with the phones , are they <br /> working? <br /> Mike said A,B & E phones are working . They have to schedule <br /> training for the voice mail . <br /> Mike asked if we are supposed to be billed for changes in the <br /> phone system? The librarian wanted a phone at the book counter <br /> and he was told it would cost $48 to activate it. <br /> Paul said he should go through Jim Byrne. If its on the drawings , <br /> we own it. <br /> Tom Wren said Edgestar submitted an invoice for $9 , 570 which <br /> would bring them to 100%, he does not think they are at 100%. <br /> **All members were in favor of the motion 5-0** <br /> FURNITURE <br /> Tom gave Paul the next batch of contracts for his signature . <br /> Don Cook notified the Committee that there are 3 custodial items <br /> that are now urgent . Tom spoke to Bob Whritenour and he spoke to <br /> town counsel . All three of the items are under $10 , 000 . It has <br /> been bid two times already. Manny Tavares got 3 telephone quotes <br /> for those items , he is satisfied it is a good value. Tom does <br /> not have those figures . <br /> Paul does not have a problem with it . <br /> ** Paul made a motion to direct Tom Wren to send a letter to <br /> the Selectmen and School Department authorizing the <br /> purchase of wall cabinet , broadcast spreader and platform <br /> truck based on getting 3 phone quotes . Merry Sue <br /> seconded the motion. All members were in favor 5--0** <br /> John Williams asked the status of relocating the shop equipment <br /> from the middle school? <br /> 2 <br />
