Page 3 Board of Selectmen Minutes-revised October 16, 1995 PUBLICPUB!jC ISIS SSI N: Tom Buglis requested information from the Board as it relates to the implementation of Article 25 of the Annual Town Meeting warrant. It was noted that Article 25 was submitted by petition and approved at the Annual Town Meeting on October 2, 1995. Article 25 proposed to amend the Town Bylaws to add the following new section; any municipal employee for whom a term of office is not specified b P Y these Bylaws or by Massachusetts General Law shall not be subject to re-appointment for any term of office." With regards to the implementation of Article 25, Selectman Vaccaro indicated that the bylaw change as approved by Town Meeting must be approved by the Attorney General. As in normal process, the Town Clerk receives notification within a thirty day period. In other business,Maureen Paxton requested information as it relates to the occupancy permit of the establishment located at 100 Great Oak Road North. Mrs.Paxton requested information related to the capacity limits of the establishment. It was noted that the business is currently re-modeling. Selectman Vaccaro indicated that construction can alter capacity space. The Fire Chief and Building Inspector are conducting regulated inspections at this time. Selectman Caffyn recommended to authorize the Building Inspector to discuss capacity limitations as an agenda topic of discussion. Capacity limitations should be posted in an area for public review indicated Selectman Caffyn. Wendy Williams requested further information as it pertains to Article 25 of the Annual Town Meeting Warrant. Selectman Vaccaro indicated that the Bylaw will be effective when it is proglamated by the Attorney General. This matter should be referred to the Town Clerk. Finance Committee member,Sidney Golub requested the Board institute the process of conducting joint meetings with the Finance Committee when discussing matters relative to contract negotiations. Selectman Vaccaro indicated that this matter will appear as an agenda topic of discussion at the next scheduled meeting.
