Page <br /> On March 23rd there will be a concerned citizens group meeting in <br /> which they will vote to keep the plume management team active. <br /> Correspondence <br /> The Committee was provided with a letter from the Executive <br /> Secretary with the Selectmenls budget recommendations for F <br /> attached. Also attached was an analysis of available revenues as <br /> of March 6,, 1995. An updated draft of the Warrant was also <br /> provided. <br /> Mr. Goggin also provided a memo from Dr. Del ours written to the <br /> Board of Selectmen indicating that the School Committee had voted <br /> on March 1. 1995 to request $6,707,975# Mr. Goggin also passed a <br /> memorandum from Dr. DeMoura stating that the School Committee voted <br /> to withdraw their article for Medicaid Reimbursement from the <br /> Annual Warrant. <br /> Funds Available <br /> The Committee reviewed a list of completed projects which had <br /> leftover monies available. The money has to remain on the books <br /> until a similar project with a similar life appears. It cannot be <br /> used to pay down debt over $1,000 or to return to the General Fund. <br /> Nor. Golub asked who would be able to answer questions about the <br /> lures of these projects He felt the Capital Committee could <br /> utilize this information. Mr. Goggin answered that the Town <br /> Accountant could provide him with this information. <br /> Capital_ Committee <br /> Mr, Golub mentioned that the Committee is still waiting to meet <br /> with the Computer Committee, It was the sense of his Committee <br /> that . $150, would meed to be appropriated. They have also not <br /> set a date for the Town's open Meeting or the meeting with the <br /> Finance Committee. <br /> Computer Committee <br /> Mr. Goggin mentioned that the Computer Committee met with <br /> representatives of a software company. There was a revision of how <br /> to purchase hardware rather than software. The Committee is <br /> meeting again on Thursday and it might be -another week before they <br /> are ready to present their final costs to the Capital Committee. <br /> Mr. Goggin asked that fir. Golub pass this information along. <br /> Leisure Services FY96 Budget <br /> Gus Frederick, Director, was present to discuss the budget for <br /> Leisure Services. Mr. Frederick gave the Committee a brief history <br /> of his department.
