Mr, Laurent indicated the (E-5) 1998 Louisville 6-Wheel <br /> Dnp Truck slated to be replaced next year is currently inoperative as a result of <br /> transmission problems purring on this date. The replacement is now prioritized <br /> for FYI 5, and is Estimated to cost $60,000 in Y=#1. <br /> Replace 2000,426C Backhoe&2001 924G_Loader- $75,900: <br /> In reviewing estimated capital disbursements for the DPW, Nis. Laurent explained <br /> that both the back hoe and loader are used by the department for various <br /> functions. The loader is in need of approximately$50,000 in repairs, and as a <br /> result, it 'is *prarily used In the DPW yard. Based on the usage of the equipment, <br /> the DPW D=* ctor bm proposed to replace both pieces of equipment with one <br /> larger backhoe to accommodate the needs of the Department of Public works. <br /> The Town's grader will also be used as a trade-in with the backhoe and loader to <br /> offset costs associated to the new purchase. <br /> Re lace -2 2005 Ford F450 Small DumTick 6 000: <br /> The current dump truck used daily by the DPW has over 60,000 miles, and costly <br /> repau% are-necessary if the truck is not replaced.
