I am still concerned about the title of the recreation area and the confusion that may be engendered because of the entire area yrs, the recreation area. I thought that if in the second paragraph, if you could say, $tan area of approximately 30 As Is the recreational area. " , rather than at the end to suggest the people look at the plan of that area, we have to be very careful in avoiding confusion as to what is being addressed and what isn't. Sandi : The only concern that I have about doing that is it is some- what misleading.. I don't want to gave people the impe sion that there is 30 A of beach area. W. woods : I am unhappy with the language ' within the limits of the natural and cultural resource to provide the highest quality recre� ationai experience for the greatest number of people& " I would sug- gest that we further define what you are trying to accomplish here by sabring. something to the effect, "to prevent the overburdening of the resource resulting in its degradation, there is a parking limit at the recreation area of 200 cans. " Sandi stated that they would- be able to add. innie' s suggested phrase. innie: There was only one minor thing that I saw in the document it- self: "Garbage Gans" .There were comments relative to the neem for garbage cans. When I went through the revision, it states that"trash barrels will be located at pedestrian access and egress sites, sites to the boardwalk and parking area" . There was talk about put- ting the trash barrels on the heard. I understand that makes for a logistical problem for the DEM personnel., but unless there are con- venient trash receptacles, they are not going to be carrying their trash back. Cramer referred to #72, Bruce McHenry's written comments relative to his concern about boats landing on the beach. Winnie: Since this is designated beach area, where are the designated swim areas? Are you going to have buoy markers?
