Vote unanimous 4-0.

6:09 Karen Keelan, 4 Keelan Way. Proposed construction of elevated walkway,
bridge, dock, ramp and float. NOI

Resource Area: Land Under Waterbodies/Waterways, LSCSF

Wayne Tavares, Construction Supervisor, Wet Tech Land Design, Inc., represented the
applicant. He stated the proposal is the installation of a dock and upland elevated wood
walkway and bridge over the salt marsh. He said he received feedback from the
harbormaster who doesn’t see a problem with the placement of the dock and also the
shellfish warden mentioned the displacement of the piers in the area have to replicated.
He said the dock is comprised of three parts. One part is an overland part and a dock that
goes over the salt marsh and the last part is the dock in the water. He noted years ago he
permitted vista pruning on this site so he put the dock on the southerly edge of the vista
pruning. He reviewed the project on the plans.

The Agent noted on the plan the proposed platform midway down the elevated walkway
needs to be eliminated and a revised plan must be submitted to show the entirety of the
walkway being no wider than 4 feet as per Regulation 27. He noted the harbormaster
comments of which he had no objection to the project. The proposed dock ramp and float
do not extend out into the river any further then other docks for vessels which are transiting
Popponesset Creek. He also noted the shellfish Constable’s comments noting the area as
approved to shell fishing as classified by the Mass Division of Marine Fisheries Shellfish
