He stated the proposed project is to <br />repair a failed septic system to a Title 5 system. The property consists of a 3-bedroom dwelling <br />which slopes towards the resource area. The system is to be located in the front yard. <br /> <br />The Agent showed photos of the site and reviewed the Board of Health comments that the <br />application was submitted and approved for a conventional Title V system for a three-bedroom <br />dwelling. <br /> <br />No comments from the public <br /> <br />Motion: Mr. Smith moved a Negative Determination, seconded by Mr. Sweet. Vote <br />unanimous 4-0 <br /> <br />6:09 Drew Scarano, 53 Amy Brown Road. Proposed tree removal, tree pruning. RDA <br /> <br />Resource Area: LSCSF, Coastal Bank, Buffer Zone to Coastal Bank <br /> <br />Tom Norton, represented the applicant. He stated the proposal is to remove 6 pitch pines and <br />prune the oaks. <br /> <br />The Agent read a letter from Davey Tree Expert Company. The Agent said he went out and took <br />some pictures. He noted on the photos the pine near the dock does not pose any damage to <br />structures if it were to fall. He noted all the trees are within 50 feet of the coastal bank. Following <br />a discussion, it was agreed to take down the pitch pines with the exception of the one near the <br />dock due to the potential hazard and turpentine beetle infestation. It was noted the ā€œxā€™sā€ on the <br />plan are the trees to be pruned and the ā€œ#;s are to removed. <br /> <br />No comment from the public <br /> <br />Motion: Mr. Smith moved a Negative Determination with the exception that tree #6 is not to <br />be removed, seconded by Mr. Shaw. Vote unanimous 4-0. <br /> <br />6:12 Frank & Kristina Thomas, 123 Shore Drive. Proposed demolition/reconstruction of <br />single-family dwelling and landscaping. NOI <br /> <br />Resource Area: LSCSF <br /> <br />Michael Borselli, Falmouth Engineering, represented the applicants. He stated the proposed <br />project is to raze and reconstruct an existing single-family dwelling. He noted no new septic <br />system is required. The number of bedrooms will remain the same. He stated there will be an <br />expansion of the house footprint but no impacts to the wetland resource area. He reviewed the <br />project on the plan provided and not the proposal is subject to a Board of Appeals permit. <br /> <br />The Agent noted Board of Health has nothing on file and asked Mr. Borselli to speak with them. <br />He also noted the oak tree and requested this tree not be removed. The Agent illustrated the <br />project on photos provided and stated the project meets the performance standards for Land <br />Subject to Coastal Storm Flow. <br /> <br />
