Road Tapings . =Planning Board Review and Recommendation to May Town Meeting on Proposed Acceptance of Taurus Drive, Part of Polaris Drive and Part of Gemini Road. Mr. Fudata reported that the plan was recorded, adding that Holland N Ils Estates..and great Hay Estates had both been taken over by the Town and refected in the plan. Residents in the area have asked that Taurus Drive, part of Polaris give and the end of Gemini Drive be taken'vera The request has been approved for the Town Warrant MOTION: lir. Bal arini made a motion to give approval to tape the roads. Mr. 1 Junin seconded the motion. Ail voted unanimously. -Article 1 + 11rIr. Fudala referenced Article 16 and the need for a roll call vote to place its consideration on the agenda. MOTION: Mr. a arini made a motion to add this to the agenda by roll call vote. Fula stated that Article 16 represented a minor change to Collins Dane, located across from Town Hall. Mr. Fudala stated that the plan's intent was to change the sharp angle into a right angle at the entrance to Great Neck Road. Mr. Rowley inquired whether the new layout redefined it back to the beginning and Mr. Fudala responded that the rmin change involved the intersection. Mr. Rowley suggested that.addition information was needed for the arrowhead area. Mr. Balzarini inquired why the'Town war ed to tale the road and Mr_ Fudala responded that it was to relocate the intersection and the additional land was necessary to do so. Mr. Mullin inquired about whether there would be any cost to the Town and expressed concern about payment for eminent-domain. Mr. Fudala was unsure and Selectman Richardson respond that any cost would be part of road reconstruction. The Chair inquired about-the pall ing for the Baptist Church and Mr. FucWa responded that there wem some parking spots behind the church and that the Archives parking was typically utilized as needed. The Chair inquired about who initiated the request and Mr. Fudala reported that he learned about it from the warrant. Selectman Richardson stated that the Article was part of the overall road construction plan and was a result of a review of dangerous int 'ons.
