Mr. Mullin stated-that it appmed to be a good idea but that there was not enough information to vote to support it. There was additional discussion about funds being appropriated for the sidewalk and addition expenses. Chairman wagan expressed her preference that there was agreement with the church. Mr. 1~udala stated that the Planning Board's role was to assess whether or not the plan was a good idea for planning purposes. Chaiman waygan Enquired whether a meeting could be convened prior to Town Meeting. Mr. al mffi i agreed with Mr. Fudala and recommended approval of the Article. Board members were,in agreement that the Article be approved provided there would be no cost involved with the acquisition of the land. MOTION: Mr. rini made a motion to approve the pfan provided there would be n eminent domain reimbursements for the road. Mr.K oh ri n seconded the motion. The Chair stated that if there were to be additional costs, she would want to convene a meeting prior to Town Meeting to discuss the *Issue further. Board members were in agreement with the Chair. All voted unanimously. BOARD ITEMS Chairman's Report-Chairman Waygan announced that Town Meeting wijl take place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 2 at Mashpee High School. The Warrant appeared in the Enterprise this week. In addition, the Chair announced that Town Elections would be held on May 7 with voting occurring at the Quashnet School. The Cham-announced that the April 20 meeting had been candled to limited agenda items and the unavailability of some members of the Board. Reports Selectmen Liaison-SelRichardson reported that Peter white has been working on revolving fund and investigating whether or not the Housing Authority would be Willing to manage the fund, however, more details were necessary. Selectman Richardson indicated that the fund was a good idea but that the details mast be addressed. Petition Article has been submitted. Seleaman Richardson announced that families have moved into two of the Habitat for Humanity homes and than another opening-would ould occur on Sunday. Training at the fibrary-was continuing and a process was being considered for the acceptance of used books. Mashpee Cares has been worlang to d dress such issues as alcohol abuse and bullying and has been working to involve kids. Selectman Richardson stated that the budget has been balanced. Selectman Richardson announced that the Board of Selectmen has voted to change the very the recycling options would appear on the ballot at Town Mwfing. Five residents were running for the two available Selectmen's seats and a Candidates' Dight has been scheduled. Regarding Ocean 1 ianagement, Selectman Richardson referenced the DCPC policy recommendations for offshore turbines and announced that the aquaculture grant has been approved by the Board of Selectmen.
