Resource Area: LSCSF, Buffer Zone to Coastal Bank, Land Under Ocean, LCS, <br /> ACEC <br /> Wayne and Susan Simmons were present. Mrs. Simmons stated they were requesting <br /> permission to install a privacy fence. They noted their property is located on Hamblin <br /> Pond and the property line is marked with cement markers. They stated they would like to <br /> construct a privacy fence on the left border of the property which would be six feet in <br /> height and consist of white vinyl. The Agent showed pictures of the property and the area <br /> where the fence will be installed. The Assistant Agent suggested having a clearance on <br /> the bottom of the fence. <br /> No Comment from the Public <br /> Motion: Mr. Cook moved a Negative Determination, seconded by Mr. O'Neill. Vote <br /> unanimous. <br /> 6:15 Marlene L. Perry & Darryl S. Sharpe, Jr. 27 Sturgis Lane. Proposed installation <br /> of gravel driveway, relocation of two storage structures and removal of 2 oaks and 1 <br /> cedar. NOI <br /> Resource Area: Inland Bank Leading to Mashpee Pond, Buffer Zone to Top of <br /> Inland Bank. <br /> Mike Ball, Baxter Nye Surveying & Engineering, represented the applicants. He stated the <br /> applicants are proposing construction of a gravel driveway with the installation of <br /> stormwater drainage. The driveway will be approximately ten feet wide, The proposed <br /> driveway will be graded so the stormwater runoff will be directed to the interior of the site <br /> away from the nearest property and stormwater will be collected in a small basin which will <br /> prevent the stormwater from reach the nearby waterbody, Mashpee Pond. Also, the <br /> existing storage structures will be moved to a location outside of the 1 00f buffer zone. A <br /> number of oak and cedar trees will be removed as part of the project. He showed the <br /> project location of the map provided. He noted that the trees to be removed are all outside <br /> the 50 ft. setback to top of inland bank. <br /> The Agent showed where the project will take place on photos provided. <br /> No comment from the public <br /> Motion: Mr. O'Neill moved to Close and Issue, seconded by Mr. Cook. Vote <br /> unanimous <br /> 6:18 Leslie A. Wagner Caffyn, 10 Popponesset Island Road. Proposed coastal <br /> beach stabilization and dune nourishment. NOI <br /> Resource Area: LSCSF, Coastal Bank, Coastal Dune, Coastal Beach, Buffer Zone to <br /> Salt Marsh, Land Under Ocean <br />
