HEARINGS:
6:00 Patricia A. Pomeroy, 7 Chart Way. Proposed septic system upgrade. RDA
Resource Area: LSCSF, buffer zone to Coastal Bank (armored), Salt Marsh, Land
Under Ocean
Matt Costa, Cape & Islands Engineering, represented the applicant. He explained the
proposal is to install a Title V sewage disposal system. The current system has failed.
The existing septic structure will be removed and properly disposed of. He showed the
existing area on a plan provided which included a single-family house with decks, steps,
brick walkways, arbor, driveways, shed, pier, ramp and float. He stated all proposed work
is located within previously legally altered areas. He noted the project meets the
performance standards.
The Agent reviewed the site on the plan and on photos. He reviewed the Board of Health
approved on November 8, 2018 for a 3-bedroom house. All work is outside of the 50'
setback. The bank is an armored coastal bank and no part of this project will impact the
performance standards for coastal bank or salt marsh.
No comment from the public
Motion: Mr. O'Neill moved a Negative Determination, seconded by Mr. Dalton. Vote
unanimous 4-0
Chad Smith entered the meeting.
6:03 Regina L. Lawson & Jeanne M. Gallagher, 67 Monahansett Road.
