The Director reviewed the meetings she attended which included COAST, Staff, Department Head Affirmative Action Committee, Mashpee Human Services, and she met with staff from the VNA of Cape Cod to identify several new programs to be conducted by the VNA for Mashpee Seniors; The Director noted the Annual Memorandum of Understanding with Elder Services of Cape Cod to conduct the nutrition program at the senior center was signed and the company who publishes the Council on Aging monthly newsletter will publish it again next year. The Director reviewed her goals were to do the end of year review of FY 2018 operating budget, plan summer programs and activities, continue to plan for outreach personnel change. Motion: Jean Noussee moved to accept the Director's report, seconded by Virginia McIntyre. Vote 5-0 unanimous Treasurer's Report . The Director distributed the Treasurer's Report for the month of May and reviewed the numbers with the members. Motion: Mary Gaffney moved to accept the Treasurer's Report, seconded by Virginia McIntyre. Vote unanimous 5-0 Outreach Coordinator's Report The Outreach Coordinator distributed her report for the month of May. She reviewed the home visits and office appointments for the month. She noted the fuel assistance applications and recertifications will resume in the summer for 2018-2019 season. She met with the Domestic Violence Officer from the Mashpee Police Department and the Reaching Seniors Team and is meeting monthly with volunteers, The Brown Bag Program continues to serve Mashpee Seniors and Mashpee residents who turned 90+ received flowers delivered by volunteers. The Outreach Coordinator reviewed the meetings she attended which included meeting with Reaching Seniors Team, Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands Annual Meeting and the CUA Outreach Meeting. Motion: Jean Noussee moved to accept the Outreach Coordinator's Report, seconded by Norah McCormick. Vote 5-0 unanimous
