MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> JANUARY 9,2019 <br /> The Board suggested that Mr. Luckraft discuss his issues with John Santangelo,the Acting <br /> Harbormaster. <br /> The Board had a discussion and all agreed to continue the hearing until they receive the <br /> pertinent information from the Acting Harbormaster. <br /> Mr. Cavossa asked the Chair,and said he was unware that his neighbor had any issues and <br /> said he does not have a large boat any more. <br /> Mr. Furbush suggested he inform the Harbormaster. <br /> Mr. Luckraft asked the Board if a condition could be made to allow for a certain size boat. <br /> There were no more comments from the audience or the Board. <br /> Mr. Blaisdell made a motion to Continue 345 Monomoscoy Road until the January 23, <br /> 2019 hearings. <br /> Mr. Gould seconded. <br /> Mr. Pittsley, yes, <br /> Ms. Sangeleer, yes, <br /> Mr. Furbush, yes, and <br /> Mr. Blaisdell, yes. <br /> All were in favor to continue the hearing. <br /> 317 Great Neck Road North: Owners,James and Nancy Mayou request a Special Permit <br /> under §174-45.4 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for an accessory apartment on property <br /> located in an R-5 Zoning District, (Map 52 Parcel 20), Mashpee,MA. <br /> The homeowners represented themselves for the proposed accessory apartment. Nancy <br /> Mayou said that there has been an accessory apartment in the house since 2005. She said <br /> she and her husband were tenants of the home at the time,and they were unaware that when <br /> they bought the house they needed to apply for a special permit. There was never an <br /> application submitted for the home. They provided the Board with a hand-drawn floor plan <br /> with the measurements of the apartment. The driveway can accommodate the extra <br /> vehicles. She said that there are three bedrooms. <br /> Mr.Furbush said that there should be a maximum of two bedrooms.He reviewed each item <br /> listed under the bylaw. He said the measurements need to be done for the entire house. <br /> Mr. Mendoza suggested to the Board that a door could be removed from one bedroom and <br /> create a b ft. opening. <br /> The Board assisted in the calculations submitted and found that the house is 1,120 sq. ft. <br /> 8 <br />
