He explained the existing <br /> house is from the 60's and the proposed project is to remove a section of the existing <br /> house and garage and an attached garage, porch and smali addition to the existing <br /> house will be constructed. The closest addition will be within 66 foot from the wetland <br /> and no portion of the house is within the flood zone. The existing septic system is a <br /> denitrification septic system which will remain in place. The trees marked will be <br /> removed. He described the mitigation plan. <br /> The Agent described the area on photos he provided and noted the 100 foot buffer from <br /> the coastal bank and the trees to be removed. There is a reduction in square footage <br /> overall within conservation jurisdiction. He noted that under the nitrogen control bylaw <br /> no turf is allowed within 50 feet of the setback and no part of what is being <br /> proposed will adversely affect the stability of the bank. All of the proposed <br /> changes are taking place in previously disturbed area. The Agent read the <br /> comments from the Board of Health which stated the applicant must provide a <br /> floor plan, asbestos and rodent inspection prior to building permit sign-off. He <br /> recommended a Negative I etermination, seconded by Mr. McKay. Vote <br /> unanimous -o <br /> 6:0Brendan M. and Courtney Coughlin, 4 Summersea Road. Proposed <br /> demolition and reconstruction of dwelling, septic system upgrade, <br /> hardscape and landscape improvements, and construction of new pier, <br /> ramp and float. At request of engineer continued from 12/2017 -- inclement <br /> Breather prevented staking in the field. <br /> Resource Areas: coastal Bank, BVW, salt Marsha Land Under ocean, <br /> Lscs F <br /> Matt Costa, Cape and Island Engineering, represented the applicants.
