He <br /> stated this is a request to amend the Order of Conditions for DEP -2832, The <br /> original order of conditions is for a proposed house, swimming pool, disposal <br /> system,.vista pruning and a dock. He explained the project is to remove invasive <br /> species and restore a native buffer to Fish Hook Fond. The plan includes the <br /> previously approved house, swimming pool, vista corridor and dock. -The dock is <br /> being proposed to be moved approximately 10 feet at the request of the <br /> Conservation Administrator for the purpose of removing a conflict with an existing <br /> leaning Iced Maple tree which leans over the pond close to the original location of <br /> the dock. Mr. Garulay listed the proposed changes to original order of <br /> Conditions. Removing invasive vines which are smothering existing trees} <br /> removing invasive woody plants within the o' buffer to resource areas, remove <br /> invasive vines within the o' buffer to resource areas, grubbing the soil'to remove <br /> roots of invasive plants, move location of proposed dock to avoid interfering with <br /> existing red maple tree, provide a permanent meadow of grasses and wildflowers <br /> for erosion control and wildlife habitat to complete the 0' wetland buffer, The <br /> Agent stated he went out to the site and toot photos of the area which he <br /> explained to the commissioners. There is a mass of mostly bittersweet and <br /> grape vines within the o' buffer zone and if not controlled that problem would <br /> keep resurfacing overtime. We looked at this area and came up with <br /> suggestions on how to get rid of these invasives and grubbing them out would be <br /> the preferred methodology. He said he thought it was a great plan and likes the <br /> species choices which will enhance the buffer zone and protect the trees. He <br /> recommended approval of the amended order of conditions, <br /> No comments from the public <br />
