He stated this request is to <br /> make sure the Conservation Commission has a record of the size and location of the <br /> existing pier, ramp and float for 196 Waterways. He noted there is a 6' long by 4' wide <br /> extension on the east end of the float. He also noted this dock was constructed prior to <br /> the Wetland Protection regulation, therefore, the conservation Commission does not <br /> have this on record. A license number 4723 was issued to the property in 1963. <br /> The Agent recommended encapsulating the Styrofoarn float in the future and that the <br /> property address on the float and fixed pier must be displayed in perpetuity. <br /> No comments from the public <br /> Motion: Mr. Shaw moved a Negative Determination, seconded by Mr' McKay. <br /> Vote unanimous 4-0 <br /> 612 Joan M. AI leg ri ni, 146 Waterway. proposed reconstruction of licensed pier, ramp RDA <br /> and float. Continued from 312312017 Conservation Commission meeting due to lacer of <br /> quorum. RDA <br /> Resource Areas: Laud Under ocean, salt Marsh, Bordering vegetated Wetland, <br /> LSCSF <br /> N01 <br /> Mark Burtis, Little River Boat Yard, represented the applicant. He explained the <br /> proposed project is to rebuild an existing licensed pier, gangway and float (Chapter 91 <br /> #5406). The existing structure is damaged and rotted and will be rebuilt within the <br /> same footprint. It was built in 1968. The intention is to replace the dock in the same <br /> footprint and elevate it. Construction will be done at high tide from a barge. The Agent <br /> noted the proper signage needs to be displayed (home address on the float/fixed pier) <br /> and the float will be encapsulated <br /> No comments from the public <br /> Motion: Mr. McKay rn oved a Negative Determination, seconded by Mr. Shaw. <br /> Mote unanimous 4-0 <br /> 6:15 Ann M. Rothstein, 43 santuit Lane' proposed removal/replacement of <br /> retaining walls and mitigation plantings. Continued from 312312017 <br /> Conservation Commission meeting due to lack of quorum. N01 <br /> Resource Area: BVW, Buffer Zone to Land Under Water and Waterways, santuit <br /> Pond <br /> Jack Landers- auley, J.E. Landers Cauley, represented the applicant. He explained <br /> the proposed project is the razing and re-construction of a timber wail with a stone <br /> riprap wall and all disturbed areas will be regraded to their prior elevations and slopes. <br /> The area of exposed shoreline adjacent to the existing dock (not proposed to be <br /> contained by the riprap wall will have sand deposited to establish a-beach/small boat <br /> launch area (canoe/kayak, etc). <br />
