He said it <br /> is a very vague regulation as to its scope. It requires significant effort for any <br /> development regardless of size or scope and the 5 parts per million is unachievable. He <br /> said we have standards in other regulations: Board of Health for septic systems and <br /> wastewater, standards for lawn fertilizer irrigation and as far as storm water runoff and <br /> roof runoff capture} those are already conditioned in any given application. The Agent <br /> stated the rescindment of this regulation does not require a town meeting vote. We must <br /> provide a. notice in the local newspaper,of the public meeting and open it up to public <br /> comment.
