The <br /> proposed dwelling will be located further away from the tap of,the coastal bank and salt <br /> marsh than the existing home with the exception of the deck. The project also consist of <br /> the installation of three foot wide shoreline access stairs} and the rebuilding of two stairs <br /> and ars eight foot long portion of existing pier decking, construction and maintenance of <br /> retaining walls. Mr. Costa explained there will be two mitigation areas comprising of <br /> native grasses and woody shrubs. He stated the project rneets the performance <br /> standards and the Mashpee Wetland Protection Bylaw and requested the project be <br /> approved. <br /> The Agent described the property using photos. He suggested particularly in this area <br /> where there wouldn't be much pedestrian traffic using ladders on each side of the <br /> existing pier instead of stairways. Mr. Costa would check with CEP to see if this <br /> feasible, The Agent read the Board of Health comments stating a new septic tank may <br /> be required if the existing 1000 gallon tank is found not to be of H-20 loading, application <br /> approved. <br /> No questions from the public <br /> Motion: Mr. McKay moved to close and Issue with the understanding the stairs <br /> will be handled as discussed, seconded by Mr. Smith. vote -0 <br />
