DPW Director re: Nuipment,Rental,Bids: Mr. Taylor recommended the Board approve the FY98 Equipment Rental Bids as presented. The low bidder was selected for each category of work informed Mr. Taylor. Work is scheduled to commence on July 1, 1397. Motion made by Selectman Marsters to approve the FY98 Equipment Rental Bids as recommended. Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. VO TE. Unanimous. 5-0. Public Hearin -Willowbend Develo mens Co oration Alter of Premises: Selectman Costa opened the Public Hearing on the application of Willowbend Development Corporation, d/b/a Willowbend Country Club, David C. Southworth, Manager, for a Change of Description for they Annual Restaurant All Alcoholic Beverages License to include an expansion of premises. Mr.Whritenour,Executive Secretary read aloud the Public Hearing notice as published. Selectman Marsters stepped down for the discussion. Edward Sweeney, Counsel for Willowbend, and Greg Flemming, Director of operations were present to discuss the license application with the Board of Selectmen. It was noted that the applicant has proposed to expand the description of premises to allow for additional seating in the gill Room. Selectman Costa opened the Public Hearing to obtain comment. Being none, Selectman Costa requested a vote from the Board to close the Public Hearing. Motion made by Selectman Frye to close the Public Hearing. Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. TE: Unanimous. 4-0. Selectman Marsters abstained. The applicant has requested the Board approve an additional 56 seats in the Grill Room area of the facility to bring the actual occupancy request to 500. The present capacity is 444 occupants. It was noted that all necessary permits are in place for approval. The manager of record, owners, and general management of the facility will remain the same.
