There were also low
level
detections of EDB found in the surface water of the Quashnet River in Mashpee.
Monitoring orin Well No.. 132 was installed approximately 2,000 feet northeast of Johns
Pond in Mashpee on My.
onda Preliminaryresults showed EDB in groundwater starting
round surface down to 190 feet below ground surface. The maximum
at feet below g
level detected was 15.5p per er billion at 80 feet. The safe drinking water standard is
0.02 parts per billion.
orin wells have been installed, one at 500-feet to the
Two additional groundwater monit g
3'1 showed preliminary results of EDB up to 5.4
north of well No. 13.
