Tests results from private wells for 28 <br /> residents of Saddleback Road did not show the presence of ethylene <br /> dibromide. (EDB) <br /> T. <br /> Y„ <br /> The wells were also tested for V GC's such as solvents and fuel. The v <br /> chemicals were not associated with the groundwater contamination from <br /> the Base. <br /> Based upon this information, the water supply has been deemed safe, and <br /> can be used for all purposes informed Mr. Minior. A neighborhood { <br /> notice will be distributed for informational purposes. <br /> It was noted that additional drilling will be conducted to ensure that <br /> clean water exists in this area. <br /> GS-10 Alternative Recommendations: ' <br /> s <br /> Mr.Fisher discussed the MMR Plume Response Program with members <br /> of the Board and interested public. The chemical spill 10 is located in the <br /> south central area of the base. The eastern lobe of the plume has migrated <br /> in the groundwater near the Falmouth Gate, and has been tracked to the <br /> edge of Ashumet Pond. <br /> Mr.Fisher indicated that there is a high zone of contamination near the <br /> Mashpee Town line. He recommended that all clean-up operations k <br /> continue to remove the contaminants 99% or better, and appropriately <br /> to address the hot spot areas. ' <br /> Plume remediation objectives will contain and treat the contaminated <br /> r tectin human health and the <br /> water in <br /> Mr. Fisher while p o g <br /> f <br /> f <br /> environment. <br /> The CS-10 assessment includes plume configuration,fate and transport, <br /> the periodof operation and natural attenuation in addition to the impacts <br /> on the Town of Mashpee, Ashumet Pond, the municipal water <br /> 'anal restrictions on private property indicated <br /> supply and institute p P p <br /> Mr. Fisher. <br />
