Page 16 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes-revised <br /> April 1. 1996 <br /> Administrative Hgghn Ly-Raw Bar In • <br /> Trooper Mawn indicated that he saw people leave the establishment <br /> with open beer bottles and mixed drinks. <br /> Trooper Mawn left the establishment at 12:00 a.m. after having three drinks <br /> with his fellow officer. They left with drinks in their hands. Mr. Weeks <br /> had called for last call, and began the clean-up process. Trooper Mawn <br /> indicated that there was no one checking patrons leaving the establishment. <br /> He observed others carrying drinks out of the Raw Bar. <br /> Attorney G ildea asked Trooper Mawn why he was asked to go to the <br /> Raw Bar? Trooper Mawn stated that Detective Flynn told him of numerous <br /> complaints of minors being served, and intoxicated persons being served <br /> at the establishment. <br /> Trooper Mawn indicated that he is 33 years of age. There did not appear <br /> to be anyone under the age of 24 years in the establishment. No patron <br /> was in the obvious state of intoxication. He wrote a report of the incident <br /> and requested the case be closed. <br /> Mr. Robert Whritenour,Executive Secretary of the Town of Mashpee <br /> was called to testify. Mr. Whritenour identified Exhibit D-3 as a copy of <br /> a notice of a hearing scheduled for January 8, 1996, and a postal delivery <br /> receipt signed,but undated. He also identified Exhibit D-4 as a copy of a <br /> notice of a hearing scheduled for April 1, 1996 and a postal receipt signed, <br /> and dated March 26, 1996. <br /> Mr.Whritenour indicated that license holders are aware of the rules and <br /> regulations pertaining to the service of liquor. Mr.Whritenour identified <br /> Exhibit D-5 as a copy of a notice to all liquor license holders, and current <br /> rules and regulations; Town of Mashpee. <br /> Attorney Gildea indicated that he asked the office of the Board of Selectmen <br /> to keep him informed of any and all complaints and notices pertaining to <br /> the Raw Bar. (Exhibit D-6) <br /> For the record,Attorney Bowen objected to the line of questions and to the <br /> introduction of the above as an exhibit. There is no reference to the <br /> proceedings in any way, shape or form stated Attorney Bowen. <br /> Chairman Vaccaro noted the objection, and the objection was overruled. <br /> Mr.Whritenour indicated that he is not aware of any complaints made <br /> towards the Raw Bar prior to this complaint. <br /> Exhibit D--7: Request from the law office of Attorney R.
