The consensus emerged that the date should be at least two <br /> weeks after Labor Day (the week of Sept. 18th), so as to provide due notice to <br /> the public. It was emphasized that all means of communication by the Town <br /> should be utilized to get the word out to interested parties. She will talk with the <br /> contractor. Catherine also mentioned that $500 remains from the Supplemental <br /> Environmental Project that can be used for public access needs. <br /> Waterways Improvement Plan and Dredging - Ken Bates noted he was advised <br /> the Chapter 91 document for the Great River Ramp construction is in hand and <br /> waiting for final signature. He also noted that the Mashpee portion of the 1916 <br /> channel dredge permit (COC) for Mashpee Conservation Commission under the <br /> Comprehensive Town Permit has been approved, in perpetuity by the Cons <br /> Comm. <br /> New Business - Rodney Collins, Town Manager, who was in attendance, <br /> requested that minutes of the MWC be posted on the Town's website. Ken Bates <br /> indicated agreement and the minutes will be submitted to the Town Clerk and <br /> then posted on the website via the Town Clerks office and the IT Department. <br /> Rodney also conveyed to Commission members that the Board of Selectman <br /> wanted the MWC to consider rescheduling their meetings from morning to <br /> evening meetings. There had been two complaints. The expressed purpose <br /> given by Mr. Collins was to improve access to the public, especially to those who <br /> cannot attend during normal work hours. In response, Ken Bates stated that the <br /> morning meetings had been in place for at least the last 7 years for the same <br />
