Martin Fugro East Associates,in order to determine if their prior projects p P p would roJ wo 1 of conflictrepresent any type of interest in working on the Mashpee Commons project. I have review material and have disc P J ed this discussed the matter with principals of both the office of Thomas J. Martin and Fugro East Associates, as well as with our Town Planner, wish to inform , Tom Fudala, and I the Board of my findings. As indicated in the proposal,Fugro East Associates has performed work r for the Fields Paint P previously Company. In November, 1992 Fugro East performed a wildlife habitat study to supplement Fields Point's DRI application for the North Market S ' Street protect. This was a very limited contract with a total fee amount of$1 100. Then S e for Project Manager of Fugro East,Mr.Jeffrey O'Connell,who would be the keyinvestigator estigator for the Mashpee project, did not participate on therevious wildlife habitat study,dy, and the firm has not worked for Fields Point or Mashpee Commons since 1992. Based on the length of time since therevious work w ' P as performed, the limited nature of the previous study and the lack of involvement ofect J ro ry osed ' ,I see P P P no appearance of conflict of interest whatsoever with respect to this procurement.
