Page 3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> November 4, 1996 <br /> QLD BUSINESS: <br /> Income Guidelines for PrODerty Tax Voucher Pro am; <br /> Jim Long,Director of the Council on Aging was present to recommend <br /> the Board approve the Income Eligibility Guidelines for the Property Tax <br /> Voucher Program as set forth in his memo of October 31, 1995. <br /> Mr.Long indicated that Sharon TraversGay assisted in the development <br /> of the guidelines that are used for many of the EOCD and HUD programs. <br /> It was noted that the 1996 May Town Meeting approved the Property Tax <br /> Voucher Program. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Fre to approve the <br /> Frye la p <br /> Income Guidelines for the Property Tax Voucher Program <br /> as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> YOTE: Unanimous. 5-01, <br /> COMMUNICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> Comes ondence from Public Access Board re: Mash ee akeb Pond <br /> mmittee: <br /> Communication was received from John Sheppard,Director of the Public <br /> Access Board dated October 24, 1996 relative to the establishment of <br /> a Mashpee/Wa keby Pond Committee. <br /> The Public Access Board (PAB) is not opposed to the establishment of <br /> said committee, in concept, but do not endorse any such committee or <br /> specifically endorse the proposed composition of said committee,nor <br /> the method in which it was instituted. <br /> As noted by Mr. Sheppard, the PAB has worked with the Selectmen, <br /> Town Administrator, and Harbormaster's Office since the agreement of <br /> 1959 to effectively resolve a lot of past issues associated with the ramp. <br /> P <br /> Mr. Sheppard indicated that the PAB has fostered an amiable working <br /> relationship with the various user groups, and is pleased with the work <br /> done by the Town. <br /> The Board directed the Executive Secretary to retain the memo on file, <br /> and forward a copy to James McGonagle for informational purposes. <br />
