It was noted that the appointment <br /> is proper procedure in conjunction with responsibilities of School Crossing <br /> Guard. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to recommend that <br /> John Pell„pgr ni of Mashpee be appointed as a "Constable, <br /> assigned to the Mashpee Police Department for Special Service <br /> to enforce motor vehicle laws while conducting the powers, <br /> duties, and responsibilities of a Police Department School <br /> Crossing Guard, as referenced in Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 41, Sections 91A and 91 B and Chapter 90, <br /> Section 01. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Marsters. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> A intment of Waterways Commission Member: <br /> Correspondence was received from James Hanks, Chairman of the <br /> Waterways Commission dated October 2, 1995 recommending the <br /> Board appoint Bill Taylor to the Waterways Commission. <br /> Motion made b Selectman Caffyn to appoint <br /> . y <br /> Bill Taylor to the waterways Commission as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VQTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Appointment of Board of A eats Associate Member: <br /> Communication was received from Edward Govoni, Chairman of the <br /> Board of Appeals dated September 30, 1995 recommending the Board <br /> appoint Michael A. Makunas as an Associate Member of the Board of <br /> Appeals. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to appoint Michael A. <br /> Makunas as an Associate Member of the Board of Appeals <br /> as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> 3ZQTE4., Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
