Routine work includes road repair, signage installation, drainage <br /> cleaning, repair and installation, snow plowing and sanding, road sweeping, mowing, tree <br /> trimming, trash clean-up, and landscaping clean up and maintenance. While maintenance <br /> responsibilities have grown over the years, with construction of new buildings, expansion of <br /> Heritage Park, acceptance of private roads, and creation of new recreational areas, the number of <br /> employees within the DPW has remained the same.
