They are supposed to deckle on requests for full proposals this month. <br /> Water Quality- Vater temperatures were warm this fall. The Bays were still in the mid 50s <br /> Fahrenheit at the beginning of December,but are cooling fast now with the cold weather. <br /> Recent testing by DMF for bacteria in the areas open for shell shing all carne out clean. <br /> Water Quality Remediation- The oysters are still doing a good job of removing algae/nitrogen. <br /> The CZM Coastal Pollution Remediation proposal for storm amain remediation that Rick worked <br /> on with the DPW was not funded. <br /> Don Liptack from the USDA-ARCS and Rick are going to the Board of Selectmen's meeting next <br /> Monday at 7 FM to discuss the NRCS Watershed Agreement for federal funding for projects to <br /> remediate stormwater runoff, tidal restrictions, and herring runs.
