Holt ]ate: Aril 14 1997 Subject: Additions/Renovations Mashpee Town Hall, Mashpee, MA Below is the list of items presented at the April 9, 1997 Building Committee meeting. 1. Basem r - Condition of the existing 1960 building footing and foundation walls discovered during the excavation process made it impractical to meet the floor elevation noted in the construction documents. There were no "as-built" drawings of this building so that this condition was not discovered until the excavation was made. We are working with the General Contractor to develop-a possible solution which would allow this area to be designated as live storage instead ofdead storage and w will present any options to the Building Inspector and the Town Hall Building Committee as soon as they are available. 2. Schedule - 'Agostino Associates will present a completion schedule at the Monday April 14, 1997 joint meeting with the Board of Selectmen which under preliminary discussion with the General Contractor will commence on April 22, 1997 and be completed May 19, 1 997. . Riordan-The electrical filed subcontractor will be notified of the work schedule and if they do not staff the project, the General Contractor will complete the work. The General Contractor and the electrical engineer are in the process of preparing documentation as to the items for bacicharge. If a request for direct payment is received in accordance with the Chapter 149 regulations, we will assist you with a response. 4. Punch L - The punch list will be completed during the period of April 22 through May 24, 1997 when the Contractor is on the job site completing the contract work. . Building Violations - A response to the Building Inspector letter of February 21, 1997 has been forwarded on April 11, 1997.
