Mr. Sweeney stated <br /> that he had not. Jiro asked where Mr. Sweeney envisioned a possible back entrance to <br /> be located. Mr. Sweeney indicated this on the floor plan -and stated that there was a <br /> possibility for a more visible back entrance. A brief discussion was held on both front <br /> and rear entrance possibilities. Jim asked where Mr. Sweeney had planned the stairs <br /> to be located for the third floor access. Mr. Sweeney indicated the location on the floor <br /> plan. Jim stated that he would Mill prefer the meeting room to be located in the Great <br /> Room area and asked Mr. Sweeney if he thought that the basement could be rade <br /> esthetically pleasing enough to be used as office space. Mr. Sweeney stated that he <br /> had looked into this and felt the key was proper ventilation. He felt that the occupants <br /> of this space would be satisfied, even with no windows, if the ventilation was adequate. <br /> A brief discussion was held on the possible lighting accessible in the basement. Bob <br /> vhritenour asked if using the basement as office space was within their budget as he <br /> also did not care for the meeting'room to be located in the basement. Mr. Sweeney felt <br /> that it was possible within the budget. Jim asked how many square feet had Mr. <br /> Sweeney designed for the fireproof room. Mr. Sweeney stated approximately 800 <br /> square feet. Bob Whritenour asked if the vault indicated on the design was a fireproof <br /> room with a vault door or an actual vault. Mr. Sweeney indicated it met all of the <br /> regulations for a vault. Bob asked if this was absolutely necessary. Mr. Sweeney <br /> stated that the only way around this would be to request a variance. A discussion was <br /> held regarding what the vault requirements would be for the Mashpee Torn Hall. Bob <br /> Whriton ur asked if Mr. Sweeney was proposing to include a roof over the 1960's <br /> building in Phase 1. Mr. Sweeney replied that he felt if enough money was saved by <br /> reusing items wherever possible, that this could also be done in Phase I. Bob <br /> Whriten ur asked if this saved money could be used to expand into the attic versus <br /> adding a roof. Mr. Sweeney stated that it was a possibility. However, he felt that either <br /> ay, the flat roof would need to be addressed. Greg asked what would be necessary to <br /> be done to the 1960's roof to make it possible to build upon. Mr. Sweeney indicated on <br /> the floor plan hoer he envisioned the possible second floor. Greg asked in what phase <br /> would the strengthening of that floor be dome. Mr. Sweeney replied that it would <br /> depend upon hoer much money was left in the budget. Greg asked what type of <br /> heating system was he recommending. Mr. Sweeney recommended a perimeter hot <br /> grater system plus a VAV system. A brief discussion was held on what this type of <br /> system offers. Charlie and Ray asked for clarification on the location of a few items <br /> indicated on the proposed 1960's building design. Bob Fox questioned the possibility <br /> of the proposed second floor occupancy of the 1960's building. Mr. Sweeney indicated <br /> his proposed design on the floor plan. Bob Fox asked if Mr. Sweeney viewed this <br /> project as a complete gutting of the building. Mr. Sweeney stated that originally this <br /> was his thinking but with the budgetary restraints, his new philosophy was to save <br /> whatever possible. Jim asked if,the electrical subcontractor runs into a problem, who <br /> could he go to. Mr. Beene stated that where the problems usually arise are with the <br />
