MASH EE TOWN HALL BUIWING COMMITTEE Minutes for August 16, 1995 Page belong Kamp if the acquisition of the temporary trailers would be part of the construction bidding package. Ms. belong Kamp stated that the trailers would be separate. ,Jim suggested that the trailers could probably be obtained one month prior to the commencement of construction and that this would provide for a smoother transition. Jinn asked Bill Hauck if they would be required to install toilet facilities in the trailers. Bill stated that he would check on this but felt that at least some kind of canopy to the existing facilities would need to be provided. Bill stated he would check with the plumbing inspector on this issue. Jim asked Ms. C elong hamp if she saw a problem with construction bid advertising during the holidays. She stated that it was only slightly more difficult. Tori Wren asked Ms. belong hamp what kind of construction supervision did she think would be required. She stated that weekly on site meetings would be required, at least initially. Jim stated that Roger Hoit had stated that this project would require a 25 hour per week Clerk of the Works. He stated that this person would come on board as the construction commenced. Tori Wren stated that after the completion of the Mashpee High School project, the architect will have a large quantity of files that will need to be given to the Town. Jinn stated that this is not a responsibility of the Town Hall and referred Mr-. Wren to speak with Dr. Delloura regarding this issue. Ms. belong Kamp asked if the Committee would like to meet with Strekalovsky & Hoit prig to the meeting with the department heads. Jim Stated that he did not feel this was necessary. Jiro asked if there was anything that Ms. [ elongcharp felt that the Committee should be doing in the interim. Ms. Delongchamp stated that she would need a copy of the Tern Hall Building Committee meeting minutes and a list of whom R Strekal ovsky & Hoit would be meeting with for each of the departments. _ Flay eked when the engineer on this project would be corning. Mils. Delongchamp stated that he would reed to ging the drawings and should be coming down within the net couple of weeks. Jim informed Ms. belong hamp that Rey would be the contact person on any of the systems issues. A brief discussion was herd on how best to coordinate and schedule the movement of the existing offices during construction. Ms. belong Kamp stated that hopefully she will be meeting with the department heads net week. Jiro stated that the net Committee meeting is scheduled for August 30# 1995, at 2:00 p.m., in the Selectmen's Meeting Room. � t --
