He explained the addition will
not require a modification of the sewerage disposal system nor a change in grading. The project is not
going to increase the number of bedrooms and will utilize the existing disposal system. He explained
the proposed project is the addition of two rooms on an existing dwelling which conforms to Title 5 and
following the completion of the construction of the additions, all disturbed areas from construction will
be planted with a combination of indigenous plants. He described the project and reviewed the plan.
He stated the buyer is proposing to do some renovations to the house on the inland side because there
is no proper foundation underneath it. He stated no native vegetation will be disturbed. The other part
of the project is to cut in a hole in the seawall and lower it and build up masonry steps so they will be
less steep to the pier.
The Agent reviewed the site and said there is no change in footprint so no change in the runoff. He
asked about the construction of the steps and wanted to make sure there isn't any disturbance to the
salt marsh and there should be a condition on the installation of the foundation that any areas disturbed
be returned to its previous condition. He recommended to Close and Issue.
Comments from the Public
A neighbor asked about the height of the project.
