Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 3, 2019 <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Town Manager Report on Surrender of Licenses: Cape Cod Convention Center d/b/a Zachary's Pub: <br /> With the recent sale of the Cape Cod Convention Center d/b/a Zachary's Pub, 100 Great Neck Road <br /> North, Mashpee the proprietor has surrendered the licenses. This includes the Weekday Entertainment License <br /> Live and Canned, the Innholder Annual All Alcohol License, the Common Victualler Pouring All Alcohol <br /> Permit, Billiards & Pool Tables License, Automatic Amusements License and the Public Entertainment on <br /> Sunday License. <br /> Town Manager Rodney C. Collins requested the Board of Selectmen accept the surrender of licenses as <br /> referenced. It was disclosed the licenses cannot be renewed or transferred. New license applications require <br /> formal approval and must conform to current zoning. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to ratify the acceptance of the Surrender of Licenses and <br /> termination of the Cape Cod Convention Center d/b/a Zachary's Pub, 100 Great Neck Road North, <br /> Mashpee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Roll Call vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Opposed, none <br /> Discussion and Approval of Proclamation: <br /> A Proclamation recognizing the service of John J. Cahalane for his commitment and passion for <br /> public service was read aloud into the record. Selectman John J. Cahalane has served as a Mashpee Selectmen <br /> for twenty years. <br /> The Board of Selectmen proclaimed John J. Cahalane as the honorary"Dean of the Mashpee Board of <br /> Selectmen" in celebration and to honor this devoted individual. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to accept the Proclamation recognizing the service of John J. <br /> Cahalane to the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 3-0. <br /> Roll Call vote: <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Opposed, none <br /> Discussion Regarding Joint Meetings of Regulatory Boards and Establishing New Date for Another Meeting_ <br /> The Board of Selectmen agreed to hold an additional Joint Planning Session with the Town Regulatory Boards <br /> to summarize past issues of discussion, and to discuss any changes that may require a Town Meeting article in <br /> October. The date of Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. was selected to convene this meeting. <br /> 10 <br />
