Mr. McQuaid recommended the Board omit the fill option.. Board members agreed the fill option is no . longer ap- plicable. Mr. Gr elfish recommended including employee training ':n the recycling alternative. Mr. Soipione commented D. .P# does hoed seminars on re- cycling from time to time, "I would. recommend inserting a phrase such as,, "a person employed at the site shall be knowledgeable in solid waste matters, recycling, etc, " , and ask them to submit a program which requires attendance at certain number of seminars. " Mr, Costa recommended inserting a clause. which states the contractor shall be knowledgeable with landfill op- erations. Mr. Soipione stated he would research as to whether a clause referring to the age of equipment could be inserted in the bid specs.
