McGrath .responded, a testing protocol must be estab- <br /> lished. <br /> Mr. Ball stated he would prefer tests are takn between <br /> the black water and the ruck filter and by the d -box before <br /> ,it comes out into the gray water. "This will determine what <br /> changes are taking place. " <br /> Mr. Greelish stated, he has researched the "Ruck System" <br /> and finds it is basically an experimental. system. 'The State <br /> is not prepared to permit wholesale installation of the sys- <br /> tem, 11 "One of their concerns is maintenance, " "The system <br /> does appear- to be an improvement over the Title V system but <br /> the degree of that improvement is in- doubt." "I would be in- <br /> lined to allow installation of a ruck system in this town, <br /> with State approval, however, due to the placement of an ex- <br /> perimental system in such a very environmentally- sensitive <br /> area would not be the location to start in. " "l cannot sup- <br /> port the system being installed in this particular <br /> situation. " <br /> Mr. Doherty questioned the Robinson's as to what degree <br /> of testing they would be willing submit to. 11 The system <br /> would be classified as experimental . " <br /> Mr. McGrath stated, financially, testing of the effluent <br /> would be quite expensive.
