' letter <br /> - <br /> as submitted to the Selectmen requesting an 90 day extension <br /> of the F.E.M.A. deadline, "The specs have not gone out to <br /> bid a e are awaiting confirmation that the e�tensio � has <br /> been authorized. 11 "The Town Accountant did offer deficit <br /> spending as an alternative," <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to authorize specs for the chip- <br /> ping of Hurricane Debris to go out to bid, Mr. Ball seconded, <br /> all agreed. <br /> . Letter from Weston & Sampson -e:^ La goa Rehab. inspec- <br /> tion '- <br /> n ec- <br /> tion '- Mr. Doherty stepped down from this utter as he found <br /> it to be a conflict of interest. <br /> Mr. Greelish motioned to forward payment to S. Joseph <br /> Diiaggio for completion of lagoon rehab. mtaintenance, Mr. <br /> Ball seconded. <br /> . Copy of letter from Sandwich Executive Secretary re: <br /> y ..Colony - Mr. McQuaid stated subsequent to this letter he <br /> met with members of the Board of Managers at the Yarmouth <br /> Transfer Station. "Yarmouth is also having problems with the <br /> numbers-s o ail y cars provided by Bay Colony, " "During the <br /> period that Bay Colony decided to remove, t o cars to display <br /> at an exhibition, 1.80 tons of garbage had accumulated on <br /> their floor. Whalen indicated to Patel Brogan, Otis <br /> representative, that Sandwich Town Counsel was preparing a <br /> statement with three alternatives in dealing with the situa- <br /> tion, r1 "The most feasible alternative is litigation, " <br /> would recommend this Board await a written reply from Sand <br /> wick Town Counsel . " <br /> Mr. Greelish stated he would agree the most feasible al- <br /> ternative is to enter into litigation to remedy the situa- <br /> tion, <br /> Mr. McQuaid stated there is a meeting with SEMASS cox - <br /> munities within the next two weeks. <br />
