" <br /> Mr. Doherty stated prior to this Board's approval build <br /> ng plans rust be submitted for review. <br /> Mr. Ball agreed. <br /> APPOINTMENT: Eric Blomberg - "Lobster I" <br /> Mr. Blomberg was in attendance for this scheduled ap- <br /> pointment. <br /> Mr. Blomberg relayed he is present this evening to re- <br /> quest a► mobile food p :rmit for the sale of cooled seafood <br /> from a marine vessel . <br /> Mr, Evans stated he researched the matter with the Food <br /> and Drug Administration who were of the -opinion the coast <br /> Guard or local authorities would have jurisdiction. "They <br /> did relay the vessel must have a licensed base of <br /> operations. " <br /> Mr. Blomberg stated, the boat meets all Article X re- <br /> guire ►ent . - <br /> Mr. Ball questioned Mr. Blomberg as to whether he in- <br /> tends to sell fresh lobsters. <br /> Mr, Blomberg stated he- has the facilities for the sale <br /> of fresh ' Lobsters but is unsure whether he' w uld chose to do <br /> so. <br /> Mr., McQuaid informed the Board Mr, Blomberg is required <br /> to have a base of operations that is licensed in that town. <br /> "The town would 'be held responsible for the i sp cti-on to en- <br /> sure the product he is selling is from an approved source." <br /> Mr. Blomberg stated, his purchases come from licensed <br /> dealers. "I do have dockage for the boat at Hyannis Marine. " <br /> Mr. McQuaid commented, the intent of the law `is to en- <br /> sure there are sanitary facilities and any excess food prod- <br /> ucts remaining at the end of the dad will be stored in ap- <br /> proved refrigeration units rather than left on board. <br /> Mr. McQuaid recommended the Board approve a mobile food <br /> license with the stipulation Mar. Blomberg is licensed from <br /> the town in which he maintains his base of operations. <br /> III`L ' <br /> 1 <br />
