Agent reiterated Shellfish and Harbormaster have signed off on this. It's pretty
straightforward work, actually an improvement over current conditions. Mr. McKay asked if
there were any concerns with increased footprint of the floats, Agent answered that it's all
muck and there's no interference with shellfish habitat.
Motion: Mr. Smith moved to close and issue, Mr. Sweet seconded.
Vote: 4-0 unanimous.
6:12 Lelane E. Kornfeld & Anne M. Walus, 37 Fiddler Crab Lane. Ms. Cadoret asked if they are planning on using motorized crafts in this area.
Costa said this plan had been reviewed by Shellfish and Harbormaster. They asked about the
size of the craft. Mr. Costa was not sure of the size of the boat, but it will have more to do
with the draw of the boat rather than the size. Agent said it is not a viable shellfish area and
given the time that we experience those extreme tides, it's pretty minor year round. If it
becomes an issue we can address it. Mr. Bregman asked if the ramp would be built over the
vegetation. Mr. Costa answered yes, we have to based on minimum standards by the Army
Corps of Engineers.
Motion: Mr. Smith moved to close and issue, Mr. Sweet seconded.
Vote: 4-0 unanimous.
6:15 New Seabury Maushop Condominium Owners, 358 Shore Drive West.
