• Stayed up-to-date through weekly conference calls with the Department of Public Health and <br /> the Health Agents' Coalition, COVID-19 Command Center email updates, and Governor <br /> Baker's press conferences <br /> • Communicated with the VNA and Outer Cape Health regarding positive cases <br /> • Collaborated with the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, the Center for Disease Control and <br /> Prevention, and the VNA to work toward enhancing the town/tribe public health partnership <br /> • Advised the Willowbend Facilities Maintenance Director regarding golf cart dividers <br /> • Communicated with Cape Cod Community College about their prospective online contact <br /> tracing program <br /> • Maintained the Mashpee COVID-19 webpage <br /> • Sent out a reminder email to food establishments that self-service coffee is not allowed under <br /> current mandatory safety standards <br /> • Asked Mashpee TV to put up 41h of July-themed COVID-19 infographics <br /> • Performed pre-operational inspections for the pools at SouthCape Resort, Greenwood <br /> Homeowner's Association,Summerwood Condos, and Quashnet Valley Condos <br /> • Performed pre-operational inspections for the Willowbend and KC Coombs recreational <br /> camps <br /> • Inspected indoor restaurant seating for compliance during Phase II,Step 2 of re-opening <br /> • Sent out an email blast to food establishments and pool operators as a reminderto be diligent <br /> about COVID-19 protocols over the holiday weekend <br /> • Performed COVID-19 complaint investigations at CosmopoliTan,Zoe's Pizza, Dino's Pizza and <br /> Sport's Bar, Castaway Cafe, Liberty Liquors, Fabvilla, and Dunkin' Donuts on Route 130 <br /> o Dunkin' Donuts on Route 130 was fined $100 for their third violation of COVID-19 <br /> Order No.31.This represents the first enforcement escalation of COVID-19 violations <br /> for a business in Mashpee, and the violation and fine was communicated to the <br /> Department of Labor Standards and the Town Manager's office. <br /> Chair Baumgaertel asked how many restaurants were planning to resume indoor seating, but <br /> Health Agents did not have that Information. Mr. Harrington advised that the summer sanitarian <br /> had been sent around and do a survey, and to check that chairs and tables were set-up correctly. <br /> Chair Baumgaertel suggested that the Board may want to invite a representative from the Schools <br /> and the DPW to participate in the next meeting, for the purpose of getting a sense of their plan <br /> for re-opening,particularly with respect to sanitizing. Mr. Harrington advised that the Schools are <br /> looking at a three-phased approach, given to them by the state, and are considering whether to <br /> do all in-class learning, or a hybrid of in-class and online, or all online classes. Those three <br /> approaches need to have full-sets of plans prepared. Mr. Harrington will be participating in <br /> meetings for the first and third approach,and will report back to the Board. <br /> Chair Baumgaertel stated that Massachusetts was doing well, considering how we started out, <br /> and our containment should be a national model. Ms. Warden agreed that the masks were the <br /> best decision. The early investment in the contact tracing program was also key. Options for <br /> accommodating employees and customers with medical exemptions were discussed. Individuals <br /> with medical exemptions are not required to wear anything. The Health Agents were commended <br /> by the Board for doing a great job. <br /> 2 <br />
