<br /> Enclosed you will find the proposed estimate for the Mashpee area, After
<br /> evaluating the provided site plan I've divided the project area into five service
<br /> areas each requiring a vacuum station. Either topography or distance prevents
<br /> further reducing the number of vacuum stations.
<br /> It should be noted that the vacuum stationscannot be "daisy-chained"together.
<br /> "Daisy-chaining" is pumping from one vacuum station into the end of another. A
<br /> common force main routed to the treatment area will tie the vacuum stations
<br /> together. The price of this force main has not been included in the cost estimates.
<br /> To provide a layout and cost estimate many assumptions have been made. First,
<br /> connections were determined by totaling the number of connections on the
<br /> provided site plans. Second,the topography was challenging,but I feel the layout
<br /> provided is feasible. Additional analysis will be required when the project
<br /> proceeds to the design phase.
