4 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 14, 2020 <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Update, Discussion and Possible Action Relative to COVID-19: <br /> Town Manager Rodney C. Collins updated the Select Board on activities related to COVID-19. To date <br /> there are 83 confirmed cases in the Town of Mashpee with 4 persons in isolation. <br /> The Health Agent was noted to have distributed a survey to Department Heads regarding the re-opening of <br /> the Mashpee Town Hall. Town Manager Collins is expected to review the results of the survey this week <br /> and address any concerns relative to the re-opening of the Town Hall facility. <br /> Governor Charles Baker has extended the outdoor seating for dining until November 1, 2020 as per his <br /> executive order on September 10, 2020. There is no action required of the Alcohol Beverages Control <br /> Commission for the extension. <br /> Discussion Action and Execution of the October 19 2020 Annual Town Meeting Warrant: <br /> Discussion of Adding or Amending and Recommending Approval of the Following Articles: <br /> Amending Article#5 to include an Additional Unpaid Bill at the Request of Health Agent <br /> Glen Harrington: Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod: $47.50: <br /> A memorandum prepared by Board of Health Agent Glen E. Harrington dated September 4, 2020 requests <br /> the Board address an additional unpaid bill for services rendered by the VNA. The bill for services <br /> provided by the Visiting Nurses Association was overlooked as it was paired with another bill to a different <br /> vendor. <br /> Amending Article #5 to include and Additional Unpaid Bill at the Request of Health Agent Glen <br /> Harrington: Visiting Nurses Association of Cape Cod; $47.50: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to amend Article#5 of the October Town Meeting warrant to <br /> include an unpaid bill in the amount of$47.50 to the Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br /> Motion made by Selectman Sherman to support Article #5 for placement on the October Town <br /> Meeting Warrant. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Gottlieb. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Sherman,yes <br /> Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none <br />
