7 Board of Selectmen Minutes April 27, 2020 NEW BUSINESS Discussion and Approval of Weights and Measures Services Intermunicipal Agreement Between the Town of Barnstable and the Town of Mashpee: The Board of Selectmen reviewed the Intermunicipal Agreement between the Town of Barnstable and the Town of Mashpee for Weights and Measures Services. The term shall commence on July 1, 2020,to be automatically renewed each year and reviewed by the respective parties every three years, unless terminated, for a maximum not to exceed 25 years. This is a new agreement that is deemed cost effective for the Town of Mashpee Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve the Intermunicipal Agreement between the Town of Mashpee and Town of Barnstable for Weights and Measures Services and to further authorize the Town Manager to execute said Agreement on behalf of the Board of Selectmen. Motion seconded by Selectman Weeden. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. Roll Call Vote: Selectman Gottlieb,yes Selectman Cotton,yes Selectman O'Hara,yes Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Weeden,yes Opposed, none NEW BUSINESS Discussion and Approval of Reappointment to the Board of Registrars; (Term to Expire March 31, 2023): Margaret Bent: Correspondence was received from Deborah Dami, Town Cleric recommending the appointment of Margaret Bent to the Board of Registrars. A letter of interest was attached to the recommendation from Ms. Bent requesting to be reappointed. Ms. Bent is a registered Democrat in the Town of Mashpee. Motion made by Selectman Sherman to reappoint Margaret Bent to the Board of Registrars for a term to expire; March 31, 2023. Motion seconded by Selectman O'Hara. VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0.
