6 <br /> Finance Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> August 20, 2020 <br /> Review and possible action on Draft#2 of the Annual Town Meeting Warrant of Monday, <br /> October 19, 2020: <br /> Article#I I —To authorize roadway improvements from the Mashpee Rotary to the Old <br /> Barnstable Road intersection pursuant to the Route 151 Corridor Improvement Project (Phase I). <br /> The town is exempt from any expenses as this project is state and federally funded. HELD <br /> The Director of Public Works will be requested to attend the next meeting to provide a detailed <br /> review of the intent of this article as well as Article#12. <br /> Article#12—Route 151 Sewer Project Design—HELD <br /> It was noted at the last Selectmen's Meeting there was a discussion regarding the sewer project <br /> to run concurrently with the Route 151 Corridor Improvement Project contingent upon the <br /> passing of a debt exclusion. Approved funding would advance the sewer project to ensure it is <br /> construction ready for possible stimulus funds that may become available for the town to pursue. <br /> Currently, there are no figures related to this project. <br /> Article#13 — Short-term Rental Bylaw amendment to stagger expiration dates and renewal <br /> periods for efficiency, and to give latitude to the issuing of Temporary Rental Certificates <br /> if/when it becomes impossible to conduct all the required inspections prior to the begirming of <br /> the rental season. <br /> Motion made by Mr. McCahill to approve and recommend Article#13 of the October <br /> Annual Town Meeting warrant. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Pettengill. <br /> VOTE: 5-1. Collins will be requested to approve and <br /> schedule the Department Heads, and Chairs to attend the next meeting to clarify the articles <br /> placed on hold. Board of Selectmen Liaison David W. Weeden will clarify Articles#9 and#10. <br />
