Chapter 5, Article VI, Section 5-27 of the Town Code, such transfer of tax title lands may only <br /> occur after the Town has voted whether or not such land should be held as conservation land. <br /> This article therefore includes a vote that the land shall not be held as conservation land. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval. <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval as written. <br /> Motion made by Wayne Taylor. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote that the parcel of Town-owned land shown as "Parcel A" on a <br /> plan. entitled "Definitive Commercial Street Subdivision Plan. of Land, Mashpee, Massachusetts" <br /> by Baxter, Nye & Holmgren, Inc., dated 5/23/2003, which is a portion of the parcel shown on the <br /> 2004 Mashpee Assessors' Maps as Map 81, Block 21, as well as the parcel shown on said <br /> Assessors' 2004 Maps as Map 81, Block 18, the combined area of which is 4.65 acres, more or <br /> less, with said parcels located between Route 28 and Commercial Street just north of Madaket <br /> Place, shall not be held by the Town as conservation land; and further the Town vote that said <br /> parcels shall be transferred from the care and custody of the Custodian of tax foreclosed <br /> property, to the Board of Selectmen for purposes of sale or lease of all or a portion of said land to <br /> a non-profit entity or entities, with such transfer to be made subject to a deed restriction, which <br /> may contain a reverter clause, restricting the use of said parcel to those uses deemed appropriate <br /> by the Board of Selectmen and subject to certain design, guidelines and other conditions which <br /> the Board may deem appropriate; and finally, to authorize the Board of Selectmen to make use of <br /> other instrumentalities of the Town or other agencies and to enter into any agreements necessary, <br /> to effect the transfer of such land in accordance with this Article. <br /> *,i's <br /> Motion made to dispense with reading of article. <br /> Motion to dispense with reading of article passes at 7: PM. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:57 PM <br /> Article 2 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer from available funds $4,287.94 to pay <br /> previous fiscal year unpaid bills as follows: <br /> Kopelman& Paige, P.C. $227.73 <br /> Northeast Tool Supply Corp. 46.60 <br /> Falmouth Hospital 1012.74 <br /> Michael Finley 367.66 <br /> East Coast Fire & Ventilation., Inc. 125.00 <br /> D.L.
