Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. Motion made by Selectman Taylor. Motion: I move Article 7 be voted as printed in the warrant with the exception of the phrase, "or take any other action relating thereto". Motion passes unanimously at 9:14 pem. Article 8 To see if the Town will vote to create a full-time Senior Clerk/Receptionist position under the Clerical Contract, Grade 11, Step I for the Town Hall and further to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds, $,27,934 with said funds, to be distributed as follows: $20,261 to the Selectmen's Department Salary/Wage Account, $7,344 to the Medical Insurance Account, $294 to the Medicare Account, and $35 to the Group Insurance Account, or take any other action relating thereto. Submitted by the Board of Selectmen Explanation: This article would create a full-time Receptionist for Town Hall under the direction of the Board of Selectmen. Duties would include greeting and assisting the public, routing of all incoming calls and other tasks assigned by the Selectmen. This position is the first step toward improved customer service.
