Planning Board recommends approval. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:59 p.m. <br /> Article 40 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to hire and equip four full-time firefighters and that the Town raise and appropriate <br /> and transfer from available funds the sum of $162,962.48 to be apportioned as follows: Firefighter Salary and <br /> Wage Account, $118,350.64; Employee Medical Insurance Account, $21,924; Life Insurance Account, $140; <br /> Medicare Account $4,547.84; and Firefighter Expense Account, $18,000. <br /> Submitted by Petition <br /> Recommendation: Finance Committee does not recommend approval. <br /> Motion made by Richard Martini: To see if the Town will vote to hire and equip two full-time firefighters <br /> and that the Town raise and appropriate and transfer from available funds the sum of $49,240.30 to be <br /> apportioned as follows: Firefighter and Salary and Wage Account $30,196.38; Employee Medical Insurance <br /> Account, $5,500; Life Insurance Account $70; Medicare Account, $2,273.92; Firefighter Expense Account, <br /> $11,200. <br /> Motion made to amend to indefinitely postpone. <br /> Motion to amend to indefinitely postpone passes at 8:44 p.m. <br /> Motion to indefinitely postpone passes at 8:44 p.m. <br /> Article 41 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize and empower the Board of Selectmen to prepare a plan laying out and <br /> defining Pickerel Cove Circle and to accomplish said purpose and for expenses incidental and related thereto, the <br /> Town vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds for appropriation a sum of money to the <br /> Account and to raise said appropriation the Treasurer, with the approval of the Board of Selectmen, be <br /> authorized to borrow at one time, or from time to time, a sum of money under and pursuant to Chapter 44, <br /> Section 7 or 8 or any other enabling authority and to issue bonds and notes of the Town therefore, and further, <br /> to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate or transfer from available funds a sum of money to the <br /> Roadways Account to provide interest and debt issuance expenses, or take any other action relating thereto. By <br /> execution of this Petition, the undersigned property owners hereby release all damage claims against the Town of <br /> Mashpee resulting from construction or eminent domain taking of any land necessary for laying out of Pickerel <br /> Cove Circle. <br /> Submitted by the Petition <br /> Recommendation: Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Robert Whritenour. <br /> 46 <br />
