Article 28 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to grant to the Mashpee Water District a water distribution easement <br /> over the Mashpee-owned land shown on Assessors Map 73, Lot 33, in order to connect to the <br /> water line on Route 151, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Water District <br /> Explanation: The Water District is requesting this easement to allow the connection of the <br /> Quashnet Valley sub-division to Route 151. This connection will allow the District to "loop" the <br /> water distribution system within the development. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Vaccaro. <br /> Motion: I move Article 28 be voted as printed in the warrant except for the phrase, "or take any <br /> other action relating thereto." <br /> Motion passes unanimously 9:25 p.m. <br /> Article 29. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen pursuant to MGL 40, §4A to <br /> enter into an intermunicipal agreement with the Town of Sandwich for the reciprocal use of <br /> Animal Control Officers between each town on such terms and conditions as the Board deems to <br /> be in the best interest of the Town, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: Passage of this Article would utilize the services of each Town's Animal Control <br /> Officer as an Assistant Animal Control Officer in order that each Town may provide the other <br /> with mutual aid coverage for Priority Code 1 Animal Control Calls when the resident Animal <br /> Control Officer is on vacation or other leave of absence. <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Dinizio. <br /> Motion: I move Article 29 be voted as printed in the warrant except for the phrase, "or take any <br /> other action relating thereto." <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 9:26 p.m. <br /> 18 <br />
