25 <br />may remove such Chief or other officers for cause at any time <br />after a hearing. The Chief of Police in any such town shall <br />from time to time make suitable regulations governing the <br />Police Department and the officers thereof subject to ap- <br />proval of the Selectmen provided that such regulations shall <br />become effective without such approval upon the failure of <br />the Selectmen to take action thereon within thirty days after <br />they have been submitted to them by the Chief of Police. The <br />Chief of Police in any such town shall be in immediate control <br />of all town property used by the Department.and the police <br />officers whom he shall assign to their respective duties and <br />who shall obey his orders. Section 97 shall not apply in any <br />town which accepts the provisions of this section shall be a <br />vote at an annual town, meeting. <br />Unanimous vote. <br />Article 53. To act on any other business that may legally <br />come before said meeting. <br />Action: Upon motion duly made and seconded it was <br />voted to adjourn at 10:15 P.M. <br />And you are directed to serve this warrant by posting <br />copies thereof, one at the Town Hall, one at the Post Office, <br />and one at each of the bulletin boards, seven days at least <br />before said meeting. <br />Hereof fail not and make due returns of this warrant <br />With your doings thereon to the Town Clerk at the time and <br />place of said meeting. <br />Given under our hands this twenty-first day of February <br />in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and <br />fifty-three. <br />FRANK E.
