MINUTES January 17, 1989 2 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> 8. ) Letter from D.E.Q.E. re: Now Hazardous Waste regulation - Mr. Greelish <br /> requested Mr. McQuaid to forward a copy of this regulation to Weston & <br /> Sampson. <br /> 9. ) Copy of Barnstable Stable regulations - Mr. McQuaid requested the Board <br /> t. i wmm the regulations and respond with any additional input prior <br /> 'to preparing a draft regulation. <br /> 10. ) Copy of report filed to D.E.Q.E. from W & S re: Bi-monthly landfill in- <br /> spections - Mr. Greelish questioned Mr. McQuaid as16Whe'th6�F AF Ti—rg-f I i o <br /> has submitted any material regarding metal . Mr. McQuaid stated, no. <br /> 11 . ) Letter from Exec. Office of Human Services re: New Standard Certificate <br /> of Death forms - The Board acknowledged receiving the new forms. <br /> 12. ) Letter from Attorney Kirraine to E.A.M. re: Fanous, 151 Spoondrift Way - <br /> Mr. McQuaid informed the Board that he did receive a telephone call from <br /> -the abutter Mr. Barr who is requesting the Board 'to recommend a sufficient <br /> amount of time be allowed in which to re-plumb his house. <br /> Mr . Greelish reiterated the Board' s past decision not to interfere with <br /> this matter, Mr. Wilson was in agreeance. Mr. Greelish requested Mr. <br /> McQuaid to forward a letter to Mr. Barr informing him of this Board ' s <br /> decision and suggest the re-plumbing be expedited. <br /> 13) . Memo from E. Virgilio to all dept' s re: Exhaustion of Bldg. Maintenance <br /> Acct. - The Board acknowledged receiving the memo. <br /> 14. ) Copy - Z.B.A. hearings. - The Board acknowledged receiving a copy of the <br /> 7_.R.A. public hearings. Mr. Greelish stated this Board has no comments <br /> on the hearings scheduled. <br /> 15. ) Memo from Selectman Lawrence re: Quarterly reports - The Board acknowl- <br /> edged receiving the memo. <br /> 16. ) Quote from Cape Cod Copiers re: Proposed purchase of copy machine - The <br /> Board acknowledged receiving the quote for the copy machine. <br /> 1/. ) Coastal water Pollution Report from C.C. Marine Water Quality Task Force <br /> The Board acknowledged receiving the report. <br /> 18. ) Copy of landfill budget from D.P.W. Director - Mr. Greelish commented <br /> operations of the landfT Fly�theD.P.W.areto costly and should be opera- <br /> ted by a private enterprise who's expenses for operations at the landfill <br /> would be kept at a minimum. Mr. Greelish stated if operations at the <br /> landfill are secured by a private enterprise, a comprehensive contract should <br /> be instituted with a sub-contractor which allows this Board the appropriate <br /> control of the landfill . <br /> Mr. Greelish stated 'this Board will be meeting with Weston & Sampson to <br /> work on the bid contracts. <br />
